I am committed to ethical creation.

I am, first and foremost, an artist who cares about the environment and people over profits. I reduce waste wherever possible, centering my work on restoring and reinventing overlooked sample gowns that often burden small businesses. Each piece is washed, repaired, and painted by hand. As I move into made-from-scratch items, I remain committed to slow fashion: locally made garments, fair wages, and sustainable practices.

A lot of people harp on the wastefulness of a dress made for one day, but to me, items made with this much love and care don't end up as trash. They become artifacts, cherished, worn, mended, displayed, and handed down. Even as fabric ages and wears, its significance endures. I imagine these gowns not in landfills, but in keepsake boxes, museums, or becoming the prized item in your great-great-granddaughter's dress-up trunk.
